Welcome to St. Paul's United Church Website!
Join us for Sunday service at 9:00AM
November 11: Remembrance Day
The Lessons of War are both positive and negative. Canadians have learned
the lessons of war from as far back as the War of 1812. Sunday’s message
focuses on the messages and what we need to remember from them as we
commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the 1918 Armistice.
Service will begin at 9:00AM to allow people time to go to the Cenotaph
Worship Leader: Glenn Tunnock
Guest Musician: Mark Bailey - The Last Post and Reveille
The logo with hands above our mission statement is worthy of some thought.
Seems to me it really says a lot more about our congregation than things like
openness, diversity and inclusion. The hands interwoven with each other have their own language. Could it be that these are warm hands and thoughtful hands? Maybe they are inquisitive hands, creative hands, music hands, kitchen hands, keyboard hands. Are they prayerful hands and welcoming hands? Perhaps they are all of these things and more? So, as we celebrate our history and our future I am reminded of the words of Nelson Mandela, “It is in our hands TO CREATE A BETTER WORLD for all who live in it.
